Adee was born from a vision held by co-founders Samine and Javad. With over seven years of experience in software design and development, we recognized a critical gap in the market: the need for tools that integrate accessibility testing directly into the design process. This realization was driven by our commitment to providing people with vision impairments equal access to digital content.
Our journey began with a clear purpose: to tackle the 67% of defects originating at the design stage that software companies often struggle with due to the lack of integrated testing systems.
In early 2016, DeeBrowser as a browser with a focus on enhanced reading developed later re-branded to Adee.
In early 2021, Adee took its first significant step towards realizing this vision by releasing its basic version as plugins for popular design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Canva. It helped us to positioned Adee directly in front of a market of over 60 million designers, providing them with the means to collaboratively test and validate their products early, saving time, money, and mitigating legal risks.
As we continue to grow, our focus remains on expanding our reach within the accessibility sector. We are actively seeking connections with government bodies, software companies, and web design agencies committed to creating a more inclusive digital world.
